Hristos a înviat !

Sunt momente când trebuie să înţelegem cine suntem cu adevărat. De aceea ziua de astăzi este mai mult decât o sărbătoare, ea reprezentând  de fapt, momentul identităţii noastre cu esenţa Creaţiei, cu modelul inconfundabil pe care ar trebui să-l urmăm permanent şi necondiţionat. Venirea nu a fost întâmplătoare şi existenţa Lui a reprezentat cea mai mare schimbare a drumului unei omeniri care se afla în derivă atunci, ca şi acum de altfel. El a adus simplitate şi logică, iar ideea că sacrificiul absolut înseamnă să iei asupra ta povara imensă a păcatelor celorlalţi, arată ţelul către care trebuie să ne îndreptăm.

Sunt convins că El, Iisus, nu este un personaj religios aparţinând doar unora. El este al tuturor. Pentru că se identifică cu Adevărul, Calea şi Viaţa.

Eram în Lisabona şi mergeam către aeroport, în una din acele dimineţi de sâmbătă, când te trezeşti cu noaptea în cap, supărat că avioanele către casă pleacă atât de devreme.

Taximetristul, după ce m-a studiat puţin, mă întrebă după clişeele clasice, de unde sunt şi ce este cu mine prin Portugalia, răspunsurile mele şi deschderea totală către comunicare, dându-i cale liberă către confesiuni.

Mi-a spus că are patru copii, că munceşte din greu la compania lui, dar ceea ce îl motivează cu adevărat este faptul că Dumnezeu îi dă cât are nevoie. Am devenit foarte atent când a început să vorbească despre Fatima, localitatea  unde pe 13 octombrie 1917, Fecioara Maria a apărut în faţa a trei copii, de atunci locul devenind unul dintre cele mai importante pentru pelerinajele credincioşilor. Mi-am adus aminte că au fost trei mesaje pe care le-a lăsat, dintre care unul încă este ţinut ascuns, în biblioteca secretă a Vaticanului.

L-am întrebat, în contextul mărturisirilor lui despre miracolul de la Fatima, cum i se par relaţiile dintre oameni în ultima vreme şi am avut confirmarea că lucrurile sunt la fel peste tot. Intoleranţă, reacţii negative şi mai ales goana după a avea cât mai mult, fără a fi nevoie.

Aproape de aeroport mi-a zis ca seful lui, de Paşte şi de Craciun, merge printre angajati, le zâmbeşte, îi întreabă de familii, de greutăţile pe care le au şi le face tot felul de urări. În restul anului nici măcar nu le răspunde la salut.Şi m-a întrebat retoric: cum ar fi să avem sărbătoare în fiecare zi?

Christ has risen!

There are moments when we need to understand who we really are. That’s why, today is more than just a celebration, as it is in fact the moment of our identity with the essence of Creation, with the unmistakable pattern that we should permanently and unconditionally follow. The coming was not accidental, and His existence was the greatest change of the way of humankind, that was drifting then, as it is now. He brought simplicity and logic, and the idea that the absolute sacrifice means to take upon you the immense burden of sins of others, shows the goal to which we must go.

I am convinced that He, Jesus, is not just a religious person belonging to only some. He is everyone. Because he identifies himself with the Truth, the Way, and the Life.

Being in Lisbon, on my way to airport, on one of those Saturday mornings when you woke up at night, angry that the planes toward home leave so early.

After he studied me for a while, the taxi driver asked me after the classic clichés where I am from and what is with me through Portugal, my answers and my total openness to communication, giving him free access to confessions.

He told me that he has four children, that he worked hard at his company, but what really motivates him is that God gives him whatever he needs. He caught my attention when he began to talk about Fatima, the village where on October 13, 1917, Virgin Mary appeared in front of three children, and since then the place has become one of the most important for the pilgrimages of the faithful. I remembered that there were three messages she left, one of which is still kept hidden in the secret library of Vatican.

I asked him, in the context of his testimonies about the Fatima miracle, how the relationships between people seem lately, and I had the confirmation that things are the same everywhere. Intolerance, negative reactions and especially, the rush to have as much as possible without need.

Near the airport, he told me that his boss, during Easter and Christmas holiday, walks among the employees, smiles them, asks about their families, the hardships they have, and makes them all sorts of wishes. For the rest of the year he does not even answer them to greet. And then he asked rhetorically: How would it be for us to have a holiday every day?
